Here's an overview of the types of Jedi you can become, and some descriptions..
Light
Council Members (Not Available)
The leaders of the Jedi Order. They demand ultimate respect, and are perhaps the most powerful members of the Jedi Order.
Jedi Masters (Unavailable)
Jedi Masters are seasoned Jedi, experienced and powerful. They have trained at least two padawans, and are highly respected - second only to the Council Members.
Jedi Knights (Available)
Jedi Masters undergo training from age 4, from classes to apprenticing. They are now ready to take on full-blown missions, as well as train a padawan of their own..
* Ages 20 +
** Join as a Knight and receive an extra 50 posts!
Padawans (Unavailable)
Once a student is taken on by a Jedi Master, the real training begins. He/She polishes techniques, as well as some mission experience.
To become a Padawan, you must graduate from an initiate in game. Please read the graduations thread for more details.
* Ages 13 - 20
Initiates (Available)
Students are learners without a master. They go to classes with large groups, and are considered the weakest group of Jedi.
* Ages 10-13
Shadow Jedi
Commander (Not Available)
The leader of the Shadow Jedi.
Squadron Leaders (Available)
Leaders of particular teams of Shadow Jedi.
* Ages 23 +
** Join as a squad leader and receive an extra 150 posts!
Shadow Jedi (Available)
Full-fledged Shadow Jedi that are sorted into squads upon graduation.
* Ages 20 +
** Join as a Shadow Jedi and receive an extra 50 posts!
Initiates (Available)
The weakest type of Shadow Jedi. Trainees train towards a graduation exam, and when they feel they are ready, they may take it. Trainees train alone, or with friends.
* Ages 10 +

Sub-Groups (Jobs)
Jedi
Control Station Managers
You only have to show when someone arrives, of course, but CSMs act as Security Guards.. Almost. They lease out vehicles from the hangar, keep track of enemy sightings, and relay messages to the Council.
Teachers
Interested in passing on your knowledge to younglings? We only have three teacher positions, so please PM a staff member ASAP!
*Until teachers are found, classes will be run by Council Members.
Shadow Jedi
Control Station Managers
These Jedi are a squad of their own. Their leader? The Commander. They have the same job as the Light Jedi CSMs.
