Character's Full Name: Kron Escen (A-scen)
Age: 43
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Home Planet: Dantooine
Allegiance: Jedi
Lightsaber Color//Weapon of Choice: Purple Lightsaber! It's also his preferred weapon.
Preferred Rank: Jedi Master, though if it's possible I would like him upgraded to Jedi Council fairly quickly.
Physical Description: Kron is tall, at 5' 10". He's of a medium build, weighing about 170 pounds. His hair and eyes are gray, though his hair isn't grayed by age. It's a darker gray anyways, so it's all good. His face is long and sqaure, rough but he's still considered handsome by most. He has passed his peak of "beauty," now developed into a mature man. Though if someone goes for that, then they probably find him attractive. His body is well proportioned and just a little lanky, his hands wide and rough from the years of work he has gone through.
Kron does not have much in the way of distinguishing features, except for a long and light scar across his torso, going from the left hip to the right shoulder. This was one of the few times that someone penetrated his gaurd in battle, nearly costing him his life. Yet the only way that one would see this mark is if they saw him shirtless, something that very few do.
He wears the robes of the Jedi Master at all times, even when on missions and sleeping, though he does have a set of sleeping robes. He also likes wearing sunglasses, but that's just a personal preference thing.
Personality: Kron is a kind, smiling man. He's incredibly laid-back. He knows that most people expect him to be emotionless and almost cold as most Masters are, yet he doesn't believe that that is a very great thing to be. A devoted believer in helping people and building up the weak, he can't exactly be cold if he wants to be a friend of the people. While Kron is kind and often touches people's lives, he doesn't break the Jedi precept of holding onto nothing. He isn't overly attached to much in this world, while a good deal of victims that he's help like to follow him around and hang on him until he leaves that planet. He's one of those people who will throw themselves in front of the blaster to save a child, even if he's "throwing his life away." One he dies, he'll become one with the Force. So why fear death if it's a natural part of the world?
Character History: Kron had it easy when it came to becoming a Jedi. He was part of a small settler organization that lived near the Jedi Enclave located on the planet. The Escen Clan had settled on Dantooine because they were sick of the unrest and wars in the Core Planets, so they moved to Dantooine in the hopes of finding peace and quiet. They worked closely with the Jedi Enclave, farming crops for the Enclave, and using that stronghold as the center for disputes and other things. Because of the close interaction, Kron wasn't even 1 year old before they saw that he was Force-sensitive. However, the Jedi let him remain among his family for the next two years, when he was old enough to not need diapers and constant care.
From the Jedi Enclave he was transported to the Jedi Temple, where he trained until he was 11. There he was at the top of his classes, proving to be a well-rounded Jedi, though he excelled at combat. He was taken as a Padawan at the age of 11 by a Twi'leck. At age 24 Kron was made a Jedi Knight, after an ill-fated mission killed his Master yet left him alive. If the good-natured Kron has any shadows that haunt him, it's memories of that journey to Corellia, and of the explosion on their ship. The Twi'leck had stayed behind to try to salvage the situation, sending Kron ahead on their starfighter, docked inside the hangar. Shortly after Kron took off, the ship completely disintegrated.
It was found that there was a defect in a obscure part of the engines, something that had been slowly building up until that trip, where it turned lethal. Kron dedicated himself to an interest he had anyways: mechanics. He was a fast and skilled learner as he was at most everything. Even when out at missions he was often seen with books and various tools, trying different things.
Thus life continued, nothing of real note happening except when he was 33 and 35. When he was 33 he made a trip to Kessel, picking up Eryn Pashta and taking her to the Jedi Temple. He made the glasses that she wears, and has revised and made new models for her as she grew. At 35 he was made into a Jedi Master, and has spent the past 8 years enjoying that status, yet he had continued to study and grow in the Force. He could have taken on Eryn as his Padawan, but felt that it wouldn't help her grow as a Jedi. He has never taken on a Padawan, preferring to be completely unencumbered on missions.
Employment: Currently Kron travels to the various worlds, settlings disputes and keeping the peace. He's expecting to be sent off to fight the Shadow Jedi eventually, though.
RP sample: Kron sat in the mess hall, staring at the food on his plate. He had been hungry when he walked in, but strangely enough he was no longer inclined to eat. Not that it was the food, he had grown up on this fare, it was quite good. Or maybe it was just him wishing it was good. The reason was that too many thoughts were swirling around his head. The Shadow Jedi, the Jedi Council, the affairs of the galaxy. At least no one tried to make him multitask by sitting and talking to the larger man.
He finally started eating, Kron knew that not taking in sustenance was the perfect first step towards a breakdown. He had seen it happen before, and heard of it many times. Masters who were overworked and too dedicated to meditation and fasting collapsed, stretched to their very limits. That was fine and dandy for the ones who stayed here, yet Kron was constantly away from the Temple. Collapsing while on a mission or in a fight would be fatal or embarrassing, depending on the situation. While he didn't mind dying, there was still too much left for the Master to accomplish before his time here was done. Kron waded through two-thirds of his meal before pushing away and taking out a datapad, starting to flick through the information held, oblivious to the Jedi swirling past him.
Other: Force Powers Breakdown: Kron's strength lies in combat, mostly. He is a Master of the Lightsaber and of reading moves and hand-to-hand, along with using the Force to increase the performance of his body. He can do things like a Force Wall, rips items from the wall and throw them, move extra fast, and other fun things.
He's main weakness lies in reading minds and emotions. While he can read emotions and sometimes fragments of a mind, he's still working on making sure this ability is of that level befitting a Master.
