Character's Full Name: Kaiyo Varali
Age: 10
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Home Planet: Mygeeto
Allegiance: Jedi
Lightsaber Color//Weapon of Choice: ((Don't know what to put here, I read something that said it was given to us...?))
Preferred Rank: Innitiate
Physical Description: Kaiyo is one of those cute little kids that people tend to just love and adore. She's small and petite, but at the same time athletic. She's been in the Temple since she was a baby afterall. She had big silvery blue eyes. Here eyes look very innocnet, but at the same time, too serious to be a litle kid's. Like most Jedi innitiates, she has the look of a child that's been forced to grow up too fast. But she's not bitter about it.
Her skin is a very creamy white, as she comes from an ice planet without much sun, and though Corusant, where she's spent all her life, is bright, her skin does not tan so much as it burns if she's out in it too long. She has long, red hair, with the occasional blonde highlights. It is not a dark red hair, but a bright, flaming red hair. She wears the basic Jedi rodes. She's not enough of a rebel to try and get away with wearing anything else.
Personality: Kiyo is a bit odd when it comes to her personality. It's like she walks around in almost a dream. She's very detatched from anything going on around, and always seems to to be overly serious and very quiet, strange in one so young. She's very passive, and doesn't go picking fights. Nor is she flamboyant, trying to stand out all the time. She just likes to be left alone to do what she's supposed to, and not bring attention to herself, be it negative or positive.
Jedi wise, she's a very quick learner, and very smart. She'd also diligent in her studies. It will not be hard for her to find a master to take her on as a Padawn when she's old enough, because of her willingness to please, and her passive disposition. She won't be hard to get along with or teach. When she grows up, she'll be a more passive fighter, mostly staying on the defense most of the time, not going and picking fights. Most likely, she'll be a more diplomatic Jedi, trying to make peace with words, not lightsabers.
Character History: A jedi master, since deceased, was on a mission in the outer rim, trying to conduct peace talks with the Banking Clan, who had practically taken over the planet Mygeeto. While there, any talks of a settledment failed miserably, but the Jedi was drawn by the Force down a practically deserted street in the poor part of the capital city. The Force directed him into an orphanage, with many dowtrodden children running around. He was confsed as to why he should be here, until he saw her. She was then just an infant, but she was very strong with the Force. The Jedi tried to speak with the owner of the orphanage about taking the child to Corusant, promising that she would have a better life.
But the Jedi allready had a bad name out in the outer rim, and even though the owner of the orphanage had no love for Kaiyo, and knew she would be forever trapped in the cycle of poverty if she was kept here, he would not let her go. He did not like or trust the Jedi. But he would not give up that easily. He ended up stealing the infant in the middle of the night, and fleeing with the Mygeeto Police following him. They gave up the chase after a while though, she was only a poor infant afterall. They had no idea how special the child was though...
She recieved a rather normal life growing up in the Temple. Unlike most of her fellow children, she has not spent her time worrying about her family or where she came from. She'd perfectly conent to live her life as a Jedi, and not think about the life she could have led, or the people she left behind.
Employment: Um...
RP sample:
*He boots made only a small sound as Kaiyo made her way down a deserted hallway of the Jedi Temple, but she sill flinched slightly every time the small, sharp sound echoed around her. She could just see one of the Masters suddenly popping out around one of the corners, and glaring at her. Shouldn't see be outside in the gardnes, with Yoda and the other children, playing and laughing? Why should she be wandering around inside, making noises while the others were trying to meditate. Well, she knew that she would not be yelled at, or even recieve so much as a glare from the older Jedi for the small ammount of noise she was making. She was in good standing with all of the Jedi around the temple. But she couldn't help feeling like she was going to be yelled at. She was a bit paranoied about things like that. She was so sensitive about being reprimanded, she did everything in her power not to be...*
*The mid-day sun was beating in through the tall windows on her left. She tiptoed quietly by an open door to her right where a Master and Padawan were undergoing a serious training session. Walking up to the next window, she looked out at the planet that had been her home for any memory she had. Climbing up into the windowsill, she sat there, looking down. A few kids her age were indeed out in the gardens with Master Yoda. The old green council member seemed to allmost prefer the company of the young children over the companionship of the other masters. Kaiyo didn't know why, really. She could listen to the Masters talk for hours, telling stories of the various missions they'd been on, but the kids? Few of them had even ever been outside the Temple! How esciting could their lives had been?*
*She was small enough to fit in the wide windowsill with ease. Her knees were held close to her chest, her red hair flowing over them, as she set her chin atop her arms, which were held around her legs. Her electric blue eyes semmed transfixed on a smokestack in the distance, spilling a black cloud into the air. Her mind was not focued on that at all though. She was thinking about a book she'd been reading in the library a few moments ago, until Master Windu had caught her, and told her to go out and enjoy the day. She had put the book back and left the library as told, but she had no intention of going outside with the others. She was shy, even with those she'd grown up with her whole life. They never picked on her or anything, she just didn't feel like she fit in with them...or anyone for that matter. She was easy to get along wtih, but at the same time, a loner. Quite a complicated personality for a girl her age. But then again, nothing but her size gave away how old she really was...*
