Physical Description:
Lily is a rare beauty among the Chalactans. Her mother was a native to the planet, but her father was from another world, and died before she knew him. According her mother, her father had pale golden hair, flaxen, almost, and skin as white as stars, and that was how it came about that she had pale skin and a kind of dark, golden hair among the people of her village, who had dark complexions and black hair. However, she does have the eyes of her people, which are earthy and rich.
She grew to be tall, about two meters, and slender like the Chalactans were wont to be. Lily's feet proved delicate like her mother's, which was good for dancing and fighting. As she trained, she grew stronger, and that built her body to be tougher than it seemed. Lily's face is long, with high cheek bones and rosy lips and cheeks, and her now-long and curly hair hangs about it like a frame. When she is not wearing gear meant for fighting, she dons the elaborate (and bright) religious dresses in the fashion of the Chalacta people. The fact that she chooses not to wear the symbolic markings of her people across her nose often leads to a misunderstanding that she is human, which she resents.
Personality:
Never engage Lily in a fight. She loves fighting, which is why she could never be a Jedi Master. She was masterful in all of the ways of the Jedi, save the fact that she was passionate about fighting and men, and having her own way at things. Her Chalactan heratige tells her to be grounded, spiritual, but her upbringing in the ways of the Jedi have taught her otherwise. Her Master did not restrain her wiles when she was a Padawan, so she learned to use her emotions along with the Force, and sees nothing wrong with channeling those emotions into her powers.
Most often Lily is in a good mood. When she goes about in her ship and doesn't have someone else to worry about, she tends to be cheery, smiling often and giving out sweets to those who please her. But do not mistake her kindness to those who follow her or her happiness for her beliefs. Lily believes strongly in doing things her way, which is in fact on the darker side of the force, and though she seems weak she is a power to be reckoned with. Evil people in this time can be happy too; they do not necessarily have to kill people all of the time or rob them or be hateful. Lily believes what she believes, and if you disagree, she will try and make you see things her way is all.
Character History:
Lily's history is so old that she barely remembers the beginning. She remembers her mother, of course, and the ways of her people. After she had become a Jedi Knight she had wandered back toward her home, and spent a few years there with the people of her past, until by chance came along and took her mother in the night. Lily was grieved at this, but she was not so sorrowful that she would forget her training. Since she was trained on an outpost far from the Jedi Temple, then still being built, she had free reign over how she went about her life as a Jedi. Of course, she did mostly good things, such as defending the innocents against the evils of the universe, but when she was near the time when traditionally she would settle down to start a family, her biology slowed her heart and changed her mind. The Force was strong in her but it fought with her instincts.
In a battle with her Master to ward off fallen Jedi Lily was snatched by them and taken away. Her body was left unmarred, but her mind and soul were tortured by the very people the Jedi had sought to bring down. The night she was captured eludes her memory, but one man saved her on the field of battle. She was huddled over her fallen Master when a figure approached from the lights and wreckage in front of her; she looked up, and saw only a shadow. After that she only remembers waking up in a cell, strapped to a table. What abuses they had done to her she would never know, but the same man walked into the cell day after day, talking to her softly, touching her skin and loosening her bounds, but not enough to run away. Days, weeks, months passed like this, until all Lily knew was the man who walked in every day and touched her face and arms, even after she had been unbound. His words spoke of ideas of powers that he would share with her, if she would have him, and of comforts and luxuries. Her mind had grown so soft in the absence of her training that these seeds of doubt grew, until she agreed to do whatever he asked of her.
She was released, but kept ever in the watchful eye of the man, Lazarus, who saved her. He gave her the lightsaber he had taken from her, and taught her new techniques and new methods, his hands overlapping hers at all times. Her mind grew back quickly, and she remembered everything that had occurred and wept. Lazarus would not have his new plaything weep, however, and so he took her onto his starship and showed her the Jedi and her Master -- now with a new Padawan -- and all of the things she had missed while under his care. The natural alternative at his point was his care, and so she who had been a Jedi Knight became a plaything for a time, something another man used to his will and pleasure. One night while she walked the halls of his palace she heard a crying sound, and followed it, only to be lead to a cell that was similar to the one she had been in. In it was a boy, young and worn, no more than a Padawan, and there stood Lazarus, aiming to kill him. She stopped him, begged him to reconsider, as it was not proper to take life without just cause even despite his teachings working upon her, and in his rage he stunned her with the Force, causing her heart and body to cease.
In this grief he knew he was absolute, because he had killed something that he had loved. Lily however slept, and dreamt of her life, and while she was being hidden in a cave on her home world she dreamt of things that she would do once she awoke. She was furious with Lazurus for betraying her, and while she remembered her training as a Jedi she also remembered his hand on hers as they fought and played, and so in her was born the passion for fighting. She did not wish to fight for the Jedi, nor for the Fallen Jedi, but for herself and her pleasures. She had learned to manipulate the minds of others, and to obtain things through her body or force, and so when clones stumbled into her cave looking for the legendary Lady of Ice, they found her instead. (A legend had sprung when young boys stumbled upon her glass briar; she had been clothed in a white wedding costume of the Chalactans, her saber and belt by her side.) With the help of Jedi, they restarted her heart, and she awoke in the age of the New Empire.
With the help of what she possessed, she stayed for a time with the Jedi. But after only a few months with them her heart wandered to revenge and hate and passion and lust, and she left the Temple to wander her own path. There she acquired a ship and crew, and now is considered by the Jedi on the Dark Side. . .
